Details of all Tribunal hearings we have scheduled are listed below. Unless stated otherwise, all hearings are open to members of the public to attend if they wish. Where the schedule indicates a hearing is to be held in private (legislation allows for, or in some cases requires, certain hearings to be held in private), it follows that no member of the public will be allowed to attend the hearing.
Please note that where a Tribunal is due to consider a number of appeals on the same day, a good example being the normal practice of the Isle of Man Rent and Rating Appeal Commissioners when considering rating objections, the Tribunal will endeavour to commence the first appeal at the time as indicated. However, due to the open ended nature of each hearing it may not be possible for the Tribunal to adhere to the times given for each subsequent appeal and therefore you should treat the start time indicated purely as a guide.
Please be aware that all hearings are subject to change or cancellation at short notice. Any person interested in attending a tribunal may wish to contact the Tribunals’ Office the day before the hearing date to check it is still due to proceed as scheduled.
Any person attending a Tribunal hearing must either place their mobile phone on silent mode or turn it off prior to entering the hearing room.
The majority of hearings are held in the Ground Floor Meeting Room, Murray House, Mount Havelock, Douglas, commencing at 10:00am, unless stated otherwise.
