Judiciary
- Staff of Government (Appeal Division) - The Appeal Court consists of His Honour the First Deemster and Clerk of the Rolls and/or the Judge of Appeal with one or more of the High Court Judges, full or part-time.
- High Court - There are three professional High Court Judges supported by part-time professional High Court Judges.
- Summary Court - There are two professional Summary Court Judges supported by part-time professional Summary Court Judges and lay magistrates.
Note - The Rules of Court allow Judicial Officers to have jurisdiction over certain matters. The Lieutenant Governor may, on the recommendation of the First Deemster, appoint one or more additional Judicial Officers to hold office for such period and subject to such conditions as the Governor may specify.
